Time Based Sculpture

How does one suspend liquid without a form to contain it? This piece attempts to freeze the motion of liquid to preserve its beauty, drawing on imagery of blood vessels and natural terrain. Through the cathartic act of surrendering control to the landscape as I pour the liquid down the caevous forms, I wish to explore the tension that builds and explodes when we force ourselves to do the impossible - attempt to suspend ourselves in purgatory in pursuit of the perfect balance.
