Nicky Josephine Tjandra (b. 2001), is a visual artist based in London and Singapore working with sculpture, moving image, photography, and new media installation. Her work currently explores the intersection of technology and humanity, with a focus on the history of textiles and its relationships with labour, capital and industry. A maker at heart, she combines digital imagery with the handcrafted, placing emphasis on the value of the handmade.
